I have to confess, the sound isn’t what I had hoped for in terms of ASMR effect. I think I would have made a more effective video if I had just mounted a camera at the rivers edge and left it it run, recording the lapping waves at the same time. At least I am honest about these things.
But one thing it does do, is show off the town where I live. But isn’t it ironic! I filmed for a couple of hours in the daytime yesterday, and today they are switching on the Christmas lights in the town, and the street is filled with craft stalls and fairground rides. A totally different scene!
So I am putting on my best heavy coat (it’s cold), and filming some more tonight. I understand there is a parade of floats. That sould be colourful. We’ll see!
